The colors of the Kelimutu lake are the pride of Ende regency in Flores Island, East Nusa Tenggara.
Those who are interested in marveling at the beauty of the three-colored lake should attend the Kelimutu festival.
This year, the Kelimutu Lake Festival will be held on 12 to 14 August. This event will be attended by the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia, Wisnutama.
This annual event is called “Pati Ka” which in the local language means to feed. This festival is a series of traditional ceremonies to feed the ancestors on this lake.
At this festival visitors will wear local traditional clothes in the form of gloves and tops “Lawo Lambu”.
Not just locals, this festival is also an attraction for domestic and foreign tourists, although this year it is likely that not many tourists will attend because of the corona virus pandemic.
